On Sunday, the Chairman of Asharqia Chamber of Commerce, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, stressed the strength of economic and trade relations between Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, during the reception of Mark Zellenrath, Director of North Africa and Middle East at the Dutch Foreign Ministry, that accompanied by the Dutch Ambassador to the Kingdom, Joost Reintjes, and Honorary Consul, Suleiman Al-Suhaimi, in the presence of Secretary-General Abdulrahman Al-Wabil, at the headquarter of the Chamber.
During the meeting, they discussed the economic and trade relations between the two countries and discussed ways of cooperation in many fields, through organizing exhibitions of catalogs, and meetings that allow businessmen in both countries to discover investment opportunities, especially as the Netherlands that is characterized of a developed economy.
The Netherlands is one of the most prominent economies in the sectors of maritime transport, fisheries, banking, tourism and chemical industries.
